STAYING FLEXIBLE

This morning, I want you to ask yourself this question:

“If I was more flexible towards change, how would my life get better?”

As someone who has always had a hard time with change, this has been an area that I’ve been practicing this year. Flexibility in allowing things to progress, end, or shift course based off of how aligned it is with who I want to be and who I am becoming.

Being flexible doesn’t always mean “going with the flow” and allowing daily life to dictate where we are, it can mean that we still control what we can control while also allowing change to take place if and when it’s needed. I heard someone say on a podcast this week:

Look at change as expansion and direction.

Flexibility will mean something different for each of us, but if we practice listening to our gut, we will know when it’s time to adapt. Our brains, which are naturally trying to protect, may tell us something different but our gut will tell us what’s right.

This week, write three areas of your life where you need to be more open to change. When you practice being more flexible in those areas, watch how your life will progress.
