FIND YOUR EDGE
Next time you are at a dinner party with friends, with a group of coworkers, or even in a store surrounded by strangers, I want you to think about your edge.
What makes you different? What sets you apart from everyone else in that room?
Having an edge is having a quiet confidence and a knowing that you do things and have built daily, healthy habits that are rare in a group of people. Having edges makes an average person exceptional.
The thing about edges are that you can truly never have enough. What makes you different in a group of friends now will not be enough when you continue to elevate in new rooms and new circles - it’s something that can always be built and expanded upon. I have edges that no one knows about, but I also know that what they currently are won’t be enough for where I want to go. The same should go for you!
Not everyone needs to know what your edge is, but your differentiators will eventually make themselves known. As you build and expand, the momentum and growth continues.
If you don’t have an edge, write down three things that you can start implementing to make yourself different. And if you have an edge, build upon that this week to create more.
This next season for all of us will be about continuing to make ourselves stand out in a world that wants us to conform. Proud of you!
